WHAT KIND OF MEDICINE IS ACCUZIDE ?
ACCUZIDE contains two different drugs - quinapril and hydrochlorothiazide. Quinapril belongs to a group of medicines called inhibitors angistenzin converting enzyme (ACE ) inhibitors . ACE inhibitors , generally act as the blood vessels expand and thereby lower blood pressure . Hydrochlorothiazide belongs to a group of medicines called diuretics. Diuretics generally help the body get rid of excess body fluid and are used in patients with high blood pressure .

ACCUZIDE is intended for the treatment of hypertension.
 
BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR MEDICINE
If you answer "YES " to any of these questions , consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting treatment with AKKUZID as ACCUZIDE may not be suitable for you.
• Are you allergic to ACCUZIDE or any of the ingredients listed above?
• Are you allergic to other medicines similar to ACCUZIDE ?
• Are you allergic to a group of antibiotics called sulfonamides ?
• Are you pregnant ? Are you trying to get pregnant ?
Tell your doctor as soon as you know you are pregnant.
• Are you breast feeding ?
• Do you have problems with urination ?

HOW TO TAKE ACCUZIDE
Your doctor will decide what dose to use and will give you instructions on how to take the tablets AKKUZID . • Hepatitis ;
• Loss of hair , itching , rash, sensitivity to sunlight and other skin disorders ;
There may be some changes in laboratory parameters ( serum electrolytes , creatinine , urea, serum uric acid , glucose, magnesium , cholesterol , triglycerides, protein- bound iodine parathyroid function tests , calcium, hematologic ) .
