Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Your doctor will decide whether Atropine Vision should be placed in one or both eyes.
Usually, the drug is given 1 drop 2 to 3 times a day. Your doctor will determine the dose and duration of application.
When co-administered with another drug for use in the eye, the interval between the two uses should be at least 5 minutes.
It is important to adhere to hygiene when dropping. Do not allow the tip of the bottle to touch the eye, eyelids and surrounding surfaces as it may become dirty and lead to the development of an eye infection with serious consequences for the eye, even loss of vision. Always wash your hands before using the bottle!
If you think your bottle is dirty, contact your doctor before continuing to use these drops.
With Atropine Vision, especially in children and many adults, it is especially important to squeeze the inner corner of the eye for 3 minutes after dropping, which reduces the possibility of the medicine going into the nose (read carefully the information in the Instructions for Use)
Instructions for use
1. Before using the bottle for the first time, make sure that the protective tape between the cap and the bottle is not torn. Wash your hands and turn off the cap.
2. Tilt your head back and pull the lower lid down. This forms a "pocket" between the eyelid and the eye. The drop will fall right in this place.
3. Keep the bottle down. Approach the tip near the eye. Use a mirror if it will make it easy for you.
4. Be careful not to touch the eye, eyelids or other surfaces with the tip of the bottle. Gently push the base of the bottle to drop a drop of the solution. Only slight pressure on the bottom is required.
5. After putting the medicine, close the eyelid and press your finger in the corner of the nose for 3 minutes. This will prevent Atropine Vision from going into the nose or leaking out.
6. If you have to use the drops on both eyes, repeat all the previous steps for the other eye.
7. Close the bottle well immediately after use.
If the drop does not fall into the eye, try again.
