WHAT CAFFETIN MENSTRUAL AND WHAT IT IS USED
CAFFETIN MENSTRUAL contain ibuprofen lysinate, which is highly effective analgesic with rapid action and is used to relieve painful menstruation.

2. BEFORE YOU TAKE
Do not take CAFFETIN MENSTRUAL
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or to any of the ingredients of menstrual Kafetin to aspirin or other NSAIDs;
if you have a history of peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding;
if you have severe liver, kidney or heart disease.
This medicine is not intended for children under the '12 age.

Take special care with menstrual Kafetin
if you have asthma or allergic disease;
if you have a gastrointestinal disease;
if you have liver or kidney failure.
Drugs such as ibuprofen may be associated with a slightly increased risk of heart (myocardial infarction) or stroke. Any risk is more likely with high doses and prolonged intake. Do not exceed the recommended dose and duration of treatment.
If you have cardiovascular problems, a heart attack or stroke in the past or think you are threatened by them (for example, suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol or are a smoker) you should consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Taking other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
This is extremely important if you are taking these medications: aspirin (more than 75 mg per day), other NSAIDs, oral corticosteroids, thrombolytic drugs, oral anticoagulants, methotrexate, lithium, phenytoin, diuretics and antihypertensives.

Taking CAFFETIN MENSTRUAL food and drinks
It is best patients suffering from stomach ailments to take the tablets Kafetin menstrual food.
Not recommended intake of alcohol during treatment.

Pregnancy and lactation
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
The drug is designed to relieve menstrual pain.

Driving and using machines
Kafetin menstrual does not affect the skills to drive and use machines.

Important information about some of the ingredients of menstrual Kafetin
The film-coated tablets contain coloring E110 and E124, which can cause allergic reactions.

3. HOW TO TAKE CAFFETIN MENSTRUAL
Adults and adolescents over the '12 age
Single dose: 1-2 tablets.
Interval between two doses: 4-6 hours.
The maximum daily dose (24 hour period) should not exceed 6 tablets (= 1200 mg ibuprofen).
Kafetin menstrual not intended for children under '12
Patients with stomach conditions may take the tablets with food.
The medicine should not last more than three days without prescription.

If you take more than the amount of menstrual Kafetin
If you take more than the recommended dose should immediately seek medical help.

If you forget to take Kafetin menstrual
This medicine may be taken as needed depending on the severity of symptoms.
Do not take a double dose at a time when the maximum single dose of 2 tablets.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, CAFFETIN MENSTRUAL can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

If you develop any of these symptoms, you should report it to your doctor because the condition can worsen if no action is taken.
Adverse reactions are listed according to the frequency of their appearance:
Very common: happening in more than 1 in 10 patients;
Common: occur during less than 1 in 10, but more than 1 out of 100 patients;
Uncommon: are happening in less than 1 in 100 patients but more than 1 in 1,000 patients;
Rare: occur during less than 1 in 1000 patients, but more than 1 in 10 000 patients;
Very rare can occur during less than 1 in 10 000 patients, but more than 1 in 100 000 patients.
Uncommon: nausea, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, headache, dizziness, skin rash with or without itching.

Rarely, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, flatulence.

Rarely:
black, asphalt-like stools, stomach ulcer;
worsening of asthma, sudden wheezing and difficulty in breathing;
swelling of the face, tongue and throat;
severe skin lesions such as blistering, bleeding spots or scabs;
liver or kidney problems;
changes in the number of blood cells, leading to fatigue, prolonged throat infections and non-healing wounds.
Drugs such as ibuprofen may be associated with a slightly increased risk of heart (myocardial infarction) or stroke.

If any of the side effects gets serious, or you notice other effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

5. HOW TO STORE CAFFETIN MENSTRUAL
Keep out of reach of children.
This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
Do not use Kafetin menstrual after the expiry date stated on the carton (for expiry date abbreviation used). The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Medicines should not be disposed of in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

What CAFFETIN MENSTRUAL
The active substances are ibuprofen.
Each tablet contains 200 mg of ibuprofen (in the form of ibuprofen lysinate 342 mg).

Other ingredients are:
Tablet core: impregnated with silicified microcrystalline cellulose (colloidal anhydrous); copovidone; croscarmellose sodium; colloidal anhydrous silica; magnesium stearate; talc.

Tablet coating: Opadry pink (hypromellose; polydextrose; talc; maltodextrin; triglycerides with medium chain length, E171, E124, E110, E132) and Opadry silver (sodium carboxymethylcellulose, malto dextrin, dextrose; pigment: E555 / E171, lecithin ).
