What Cationorm and what it is used

Cationorm a hypotonic emulsion preservative in the form of milky fluid.

Cationorm contain: mineral oil, glycerol, tiloksapol, poloxamer 188, trishidrohlorid, tromethamine, tsetalkonievhlorid (as kation circuit), purified water.

 Each vial contains 10 ml Cationorm sterile emulsion.

Cationorm helps hydrate, moisturise and protect the ocular surface. Recommended for relief of symptoms of dry eye, such as tingling, itching, burning or foreign body sensation (feeling of sand or dust) in the eye.

These symptoms may be related to external factors (such as air conditioning, wind, pollution, smoke, dust, air travel) or eye fatigue due to work on the computer screen for a long time.

Before using Cationorm

Cationorm Do not use if you are allergic to any component of the product.

This product is not intended to treat other eye conditions. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist. 

If you use other eye drops must wait at least five minutes before using Cationorm.

Cationorm not affect the quality of your lenses.

How to use Cationorm

Ocular

The recommended dose is one drop in each eye, 1 to 4 times daily.

Instructions for use

 Wash your hands.

  When using a bottle with eye drops for the first time, remove the protective cap from the ring by pulling the tab.

  Open the bottle by gently pulling the cover.

  Hold the vial between your thumb and forefinger.

  Be careful not to allow contact of the tip of the bottle with your fingers.

  Tilt your head back.

  Gently pull down the lower eyelid and look up.

  Hold the bottle over the eye and gently squeeze one drop in the eye and blink several times.

  Do not touch the eye or eyelashes with the tip of the bottle.

  Put the cap back on the bottle after each use.

  Keep the vial in the box when not in use.

  Do not use Cationorm more than three months after you've opened the bottle.

 Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

  Do not swallow.

What side effects are possible

As with any eye drops you may have mild discomfort in the eye shortly after using the drops.

If you notice side effects not listed in this leaflet, tell your doctor or pharmacist.

How to store Cationorm

 Keep the vial in the box.

  Keep out of reach of children.

  Do not use if the vial is damaged.

  Do not use after the expiry date printed on the carton.

  Do not use Cationorm more than three months after you've opened the bottle.
