WHAT IS DALERON AND WHAT IT IS USED
Ingredients:
5 ml of suspension (1 oral syringe) contains 120 mg of acetaminophen (paracetamol).
Excipients: sorbitol, glycerol, xanthan gum, maltitol, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, sodium benzoate, citric acid, pineapple flavor, riboflavin, purified water.

What is your medicine?
The suspension Daleron contains paracetamol that inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, thus lowering the increased body temperature and relieving pain. This formulation is designed specifically for children.
Daleron suspension contains no sugar and has a pleasant taste of pineapple.

What is this medicine?
The suspension Daleron is designed for:
lowering an elevated body temperature for bacterial and viral infections; in reactions after vaccination;
relief of mild to moderate acute pain (headache, toothache);
relieves pain after injuries, medical or dental surgical procedures.
 
2. BEFORE YOU TAKE DALERON
Who should not use the medicinal product?
The medicinal product must not be given to children who are hypersensitive to paracetamol or to any of the excipients of the medicinal product, as well as children with severe renal or hepatic impairment.
 
What should be careful when taking this medicine?
Children with mild to moderate renal or hepatic insufficiency may take Daleron only under medical supervision. Daleron should not be given concomitantly with other drugs containing acetaminophen.
Children under 2 years of age Daleron should be given only on medical advice.
Should not exceed the recommended doses.
Should not be giving the medicine more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.
If the child's condition does not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor.
Since the drug does not contain sugar, it is suitable for diabetic patients.
Daleron suspension contains sorbitol (0,7 g / 5 ml) and therefore is not suitable for children with hereditary fructose intolerance.
Since the drug containing polyols (sorbitol, maltitol), large doses can cause gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhea).
Pregnancy and lactation
The suspension Daleron contains paracetamol in suitable dosages for children.
Safe use of paracetamol during pregnancy and lactation has not been established unconditionally. Pregnant women and nursing mothers may use medicine only after consulting your doctor and only for a short period of time and possibly only in single doses.

What other medicines can interact with Daleron?
If your child while taking other medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Tell your doctor if your child takes medicines containing metoclopramide, domperidone, cholestyramine or warfarin.
In children Daleron should not be administered concurrently with antiepileptics, barbiturates, rifampicin and chloramphenicol.

3. HOW TO TAKE DALERON
How should I use medicine?
The recommended unit dose is from 10 mg to 15 mg / kg paracetamol.
For a more accurate measurement of doses is administered syringe for oral administration of the drug. A full syringe (5 ml) contains 120 mg acetaminophen. Measured amount of medicine should be emptied slowly from the syringe into the child's mouth. You can also empty the syringe in a spoon and medicine to be given to the child with her.
Shake the bottle before use.
Rinse the syringe with water after use.

Dosing suspension Daleron:

* Use at age of 3 months is exceptional and applies only to cases of sledvaksinatsionna pyrexia (temperature increase after vaccination).

Unit doses may be administered at intervals of at least 4-6 hours. It is not recommended to give more than 4 doses.

What can happen if I take a dose greater than the recommended?
If the child has swallowed too much of the drug, immediately consult a doctor, even if it feels good. Signs of poisoning may occur after several days.
Higher than recommended doses of acetaminophen can cause nausea, vomiting and severe hepatic impairment, especially in patients with kidney and liver diseases.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
What side effects may notice the adoption of the product?
If the medicinal product is taken in recommended doses, side effects are rare and mild.
Side effects that may occur during treatment with paracetamol:
Rare (occurring in more than 1, but less than 1000 10 000 patients), nausea, hypersensitivity reactions, mainly skin rash, pruritus and urticaria, tiredness;
isolated cases (occurs in less than 1 in 10 000 patients): diarrhea, vomiting, jaundice, pancreatitis, and may occur rarely. Elevated liver enzyme activity, leukopenia (reduction in the number of white blood cells, which increases the likelihood of infection) and thrombocytopenia (reduced platelet count, which increases the risk of bleeding or bruising).
When side effects stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

5. HOW TO STORE DALERON
Storage and shelf life
The product must not be used after the expiration date on the package.
Protect from light. Store at temperatures below 30 ° C.
After opening the suspension can be used up to 3 months if the bottle is held
well closed.
