Always use Elocom Ointment exactly as your doctor prescribed. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

as a thin layer is applied once a day to the affected area of the skin and rubbed slightly.
If inflammation or sensitivity occurs when using Ellcom, treatment should be discontinued and replaced with another medicinal product.
If an infection occurs. Your doctor will appoint you an antifungal or antibacterial medicine. If there is no rapid beneficial effect, corticosteroid treatment should be discontinued until the infection is controlled.
Local and / or systemic toxicity may often occur, especially in the long-term treatment of a large body surface, in the skin folds, and in the use of an occlusive dressing.
If this medicine is used in young children or on the face of the face, treatment should be limited to 5 days and the skin should not be covered with a bandage. Avoid long-term treatment with Ellcom, regardless of the age group.
Particular attention should be paid to the topical use of corticosteroids in psoriasis, as the so- rebound - a phenomenon followed by the development of tolerance, risk of generalized purulent psoriasis and development of local or systemic toxicity due to impaired skin protective function. If Elocom is used in psoriasis, it is very important that you closely monitor your doctor.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Elocom Ointment can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
• In some patients, the following undesirable effects may rarely be observed:
irritation, itching, burning, pricking, tingling, inflammation of the hair follicles, increased hair, acne, discoloration or thinning of the skin, streak, milii, secondary infections and contact allergies, dryness, inflammation of the skin around the mouth.
As with all corticosteroids, the use of Elucoma on a large skin surface in a larger amount and over an extended period of time may lead to increased absorption through the skin in amounts causing general (systemic) side effects. These may include swelling of the face, neck and torso, weight gain, and children's growth and developmental impact. In such cases, you should consult your doctor. Children are more susceptible than adults to such reactions because of the higher skin / body weight ratio.
