WHAT OTIRELAX IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
This medicinal product is intended for local symptomatic pain management, especially in:
- acutely unperforated middle ear inflammation;
- viral inflammation of the ear for influenza;
- Baro trauma (as a result of diving or air travel)
2. BEFORE YOU USE OTIRILAX
Do not use OTIRELAX
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- if you are hypersensitive to pyrazolone derivatives (metamizole, propylamino-phenazine, propyl-phenazone).
- You have a perforation of the eardrum.
Take special care with Otirelax
This medicine can not be used in some patients.
If you have a perforated eardrum membrane, this medicine can cause side effects in the middle ear.
Before treatment with OTIrelax as a prophylactic measure, ask your doctor to check if your eardrum is whole.
Caution should be exercised when administering the product to patients with impaired hepatic function, epilepsy, rhythm and conduction disorders of the heart, myasthenia or shock.
Do not use this medicine for more than 10 days and / or do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Stop treatment and consult your doctor immediately if side-effects or other symptoms of allergic reactions occur.
Using other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines (including ear drops), including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Use of OTIRELAX with food and drink
No special requirements.

The use of this medicine does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

3. HOW TO USE OTIRILAX
Always use OTIRILAX according to the instructions described in this leaflet or exactly as your doctor has told you.
If you forget to use OTIRELAX drops, just take it as soon as you remember. Do not use a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
Do not take any other medicines before consulting your doctor or pharmacist
If you suspect that the use of this medicine has caused an allergic reaction (itching, redness of the skin or eyes), stop using it and talk to your doctor straight away
The usual dose is 4 drops in the ear, 2 to 3 times a day. To avoid the unpleasant contact of the cold solution with the ear, the bottle may warm up before use, keeping it between the hands for a few minutes.
The maximum duration of treatment is 10 days.
If you use OTIRELAX at the same time as other ear drops, provide a 30-minute interval between them.
Wash your hands before using this medicine.
Lie on one side or tilt the sick ear up. Pull the earlobe up and back in adults or down and back in the children to ensure that the drops fall into the ear. Place the drops in the ear.
Hold your head in an inclined position for about 5 minutes.
Or, place a soft cotton swab that is soaked in the ear for 5-10 minutes if this is indicated to prevent leakage of the medicine from the ear.
To prevent contamination, avoid touching the tip of the applicator-dropper ear or other surfaces
Do not rinse the applicator-dropper, but clean it with a little sterile cotton.
Close the bottle well after each injection If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
If you use more OTIrelax than you should
If you forget to use OTIRELAX drops, just take it as soon as you remember.
If you forget to use OTIRELAX
Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
If you stop using Otirelax
Treatment with this drug can be stopped at any time.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, OTIRELAX can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
In rare cases there is a risk of local reactions such as allergies, irritation or redness.
If you accidentally take this medicine as a result of an accident, please contact your doctor immediately or go to the nearest emergency center.
If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
HOW TO STORE OTIRELAX
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store below 25 ° C in a sealed original package.
Do not use OTIRELAX after the expiry date which is stated on the bottle.
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Shelf life after first opening 28 days.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of your unnecessary medicines. These measures will help to protect the environment.

What Otirelax contains
- The active substances are: phenazone 4g / 100g and lidocaine hydrochloride lg / 100g drops for ears, solution.
- The excipients are: sodium thiosulphate, 96% ethanol, purified water, sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment (as 1 molar solution) and glycerol.
