RISPOLUKS  WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED

Rispoluks  belongs to the group of so-called antipsychotic drugs used to treat a number of mental illnesses known as psychosis.

Rispoluks is used for:

 Acute and chronic schizophrenic psychoses and other psychotic conditions.

  treatment for the prevention of recurrence in chronic shizefreniya.

 BEFORE YOU TAKE RISPOLUKS

Do not take Rispoluks

if you are allergic to risperidone or any other ingredients of this medicine.

Take special care with Rispoluks

 If you have kidney or liver disease, cardiovascular disease, Parkinson's disease or epilepsy. Tell your doctor about these conditions.

Taking other medicines

Risperidonat may enhance the effects of alcohol and drugs that suppress the central nervous system (drugs, some antidepressants and antihistamines, narcotic analgesics, benzodiazepines and opioids). Do not use alcohol while taking Rispoluks .

Tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following drugs: carbamazepine, levodopa

fenotiazidi, tricyclic antidepressants, fluoxetine, beta-blockers. These drugs may interfere with the effect of risperidone.

Rispoluks  may enhance the effects of certain antihypertensive drugs. Tell your

doctor if you are taking any medications to lower blood pressure.

Pregnancy and lactation

  HOW TO TAKE RISPOLUKS

Your doctor will tell you how many tablets to take a day and how long (how many days) to continue treatment.

The tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not chew. Take your tablets every day, preferably at the same time. Follow your doctor. Do not change your daily dose of the drug.

Rispoluks  dose should be increased gradually. The recommended dosage regimen of 2 mg the first day, 4 mg. second day. If necessary, the third day dose may be increased to 6 mg. The usual optimal dose is 4-6 mg. daily. It can be taken all at once or divided into two daily doses. In elderly patients (over 65 years) and in patients with liver or kidney disease, the recommended starting dose is 0.5 mg twice daily. The usually effective dose is 1-2 mg. twice daily.

If you take more than the dose Rispoluks

Endocrine disorders:

Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome

As with other antipsychotic drugs, treatment with risperidone may cause neuroleptic malignant syndrome with typical symptoms of hyperthermia, extreme muscle rigidity and autonomic instability.

What Rispoluks

The active substance is risperidone. Each tablet contains 1, 2, 3 or 4 mg risperidone.

The other ingredients are:
