WHAT SALBUTAMOL SOPHARMA?
Sopharma salbutamol syrup is a medicinal product by a group called bronchodilators It relaxes smooth muscles of the bronchi, promotes the expansion of the respiratory tract, relieves tension in the chest, wheezing and eases breathing.
 
WHAT IT IS USED SALBUTAMOL SOPHARMA?
It is used for alleviating respiratory asthma and other lung diseases. It is suitable for use in children and adults who can not apply inhaled agents.
 
WHEN NOT TO USE SALBUTAMOL SOPHARMA?
You should not use Salbutamol Sopharma if you are allergic to the active substance salbutamol or excipients of the syrup.

Precautions and warnings

Medicinal product contains 37,7 g sucrose. When taken according to the dosage recommendations each dose of 5 ml provide up to 1,5 g sucrose. Is inappropriate for people with impaired absorption of sugars (hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose / galactose malabsorption or sucrase / isomaltase deficiency). Methyl and propyl parahydroxybenzoate can cause urticaria. Rarely cause reactions of hypersensitivity with urticaria and bronchospasm.
 The syrup contains up to 3.69 vol.% Ethanol. Each dose contains 5 ml to 0,15 g alcohol. Unsuitable for patients with liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy.
 
What medications may interact with salbutamol SOPHARMA?
Please tell your doctor about ALL drugs you are taking or have recently taken, whether prescribed by a doctor or you purchased without a prescription. Tell your doctor if you take:
- Other medicines used to treat bronchospasm (sympathomimetics, xanthines - theophylline novphylline);
- Corticosteroids;
- Dewatering agents (diuretics);
- Medicines to treat heart failure (digitalis);
- Drugs to treat depression {MAO inhibitors or tricyclic antidepressants);
- Drugs to treat diseases of the thyroid (thyroid hormone);

DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
The syrup is taken orally.
Adults and children over 12 years - 2-4 mg (5-10 ml) 3-4 times daily. If necessary, the dose may be increased to 8 mg (20 ml) 4 times per day (maximum daily dose of 32 mg).
Children from 6 to 12 years - 2 mg (5 ml) 3-4 times daily. The dose may be increased to 6 mg (15 ml) 4 times per day (maximum daily dose of 24 mg).
Children 2 to 6 years - starting dose is 1-2 mg (2,5-5 ml) 3-4 times daily.
Children under 2 years: Safety, efficacy and dosage of the product in children under 2 years has not been established.
If during treatment you feel that the effect of the drug is weak (feel the need for more frequent use of the syrup than usual), it is necessary to immediately contact your doctor. It will reassess your condition and may change your treatment. Do not change the dosage of the drug without consulting a doctor!
 
If you take more Salbutamol Sopharma
If you take a dose larger than indicated in the package, you may appear tremor (shaking) of the extremities, increased sweating, nausea, vomiting, chest pain, abnormal heart rhythm.

If you forget to take Salbutamol Sopharma
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost was time for your next dose, take it as usual, as skip the dose you forgot. Do not take a double dose to make up for the forgotten.
 
SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Salbutamol Sopharma can have side effects. They did not necessarily occur in all patients, so you may not receive any response.
