SIMVAKOR table. 40 mg, Simvakor lowers LDL - C (bad cholesterol) and the fats called triglycerides in the blood and increases levels of NDL-C (good cholesterol)

SIMVAKOR WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED

Simvakor was coated tablet containing 10, 20 or 40 mg simvastatin as an active ingredient.

Furthermore, Simvakor contains the following inactive ingredients: butylated hydroxyanisole, ascorbic acid, citric acid monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, magnesium stearate, lactose, hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, titanium dioxide, talc, red iron oxide.

Simvakor is available as film-coated tablets of 10, 20 or 40 mg in packs of 30 tablets.

Simvakor lowers LDL - C (bad cholesterol) and the fats called triglycerides in the blood and increases levels of NDL-C (good cholesterol). It belongs to a group of drugs known as inhibitors hidroksimetilglutaril-Coenzyme A (CoA NMG). Your doctor has prescribed Simvakor to reduce health risks associated with coronary heart disease (CHD).

If you have coronary artery disease, diabetes, previous stroke, or have other vascular disease (regardless of cholesterol in your blood) Simvakor can:

Extend your life by reducing the risk of heart attack or stroke

Reduce the need for surgery, increasing blood flow to the legs and major organs like the heart

Reduce the need for hospitalization due to chest pain (called angina)

Simvakor reduces the amount of cholesterol in the blood. Cholesterol can cause ischemic heart disease (IHD), clog the blood vessels that carry oxygen and nutrients to the heart. Clogging or hardening of the arteries is called atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis can cause chest pain (called heartwater) and heart attack.

Simvakor also slows the progression of atherosclerosis and reduces the development of a new one.

High cholesterol is the result of a number of factors, such as the use of foods rich in saturated fats, certain diseases or genetically-determined conditions and lack

sufficient physical activity. Lowering cholesterol may reduce the risk of developing CHD.

A number of reasons can lead to coronary artery disease.

To develop CHD risk may increase if there are several factors:

 High Cholesterol

 High blood pressure

 Smoking

 Diabetes

 Obesity

 Family history

 male

 Period after menopause

To you to control the first five of these reasons that lead to coronary artery disease.

What can you do to save the longer your health and reduce your risk of developing coronary artery disease?

  Stop smoking!

Smoking increases the risk of heart attack.

  Exercise!

This will increase the level of "good" cholesterol and reduce the risk of developing CHD.

Ask your doctor before you start playing sports. Visit your doctor regularly! Your doctor will monitor your cholesterol levels. Take your medicine regularly! Do not stop your treatment to keep under control your cholesterol level. Follow the diet recommended by your doctor! The diet will not only help to lower cholesterol, but also losing weight (if necessary).

LDL - cholesterol is called "bad" cholesterol because it causes this type of cholesterol clogging the arteries.

HDL - cholesterol, on the other hand, is believed to remove cholesterol from the blood vessels and is therefore perceived to be called "good" cholesterol.

Simvakor exerts its effect by reducing the production of cholesterol in the liver (the main source of cholesterol in the body) and increase the rate of removal of cholesterol from your bloodstream by the liver. In view of the existence of LDL and HDL, Simvakor significantly reduced LDL ("bad" cholesterol) and most patients increases HDL ("good" cholesterol). By combining Simvakor with dieting, you take control of the amount of cholesterol that your diet and the amount that your body produces.

For most people, with high cholesterol do not appear as symptoms. Your doctor can measure the amount of cholesterol in the blood by a simple blood test. Visit your doctor regularly to keep track of your cholesterol level and discuss the results with him.
