WHAT STREPSILS ORANGE WITH VITAMIN C AND WHAT IT IS USED
Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C belongs to a group of medicines called antiseptics.
Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C recommended for the treatment and symptomatic relief of infectious-inflammatory diseases of the mouth (stomatitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis).
Each tablet Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C contains Vitamin C, which is especially needed for the body during infection of the mouth and throat.
It has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties.
The effect is manifested in the first 5 minutes and lasts up to 2 hours after administration of the drug.

2. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU TAKE STREPSILS ORANGE WITH VITAMIN C
Do not take Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C:
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to 2.4 -Dichlorobenzyl alcohol amilmetakrezol and ascorbic acid or any of the other ingredients of Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C.
Take special care with Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C
if you have diabetes - see Important information about some of the ingredients of Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C.
Taking other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
There are no known interactions with other medicinal products.

Application of Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C with food and drink
Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C should not be administered with food and drinks. Apply between meals.

Pregnancy, fertility and lactation
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
Although the safety of Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C during pregnancy and lactation has not been established, this product can be taken by pregnant or lactating women.

Drive and use machines
Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C did not affect the ability to drive and use machines.

Important information about some of the ingredients of Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C
Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C contains glucose and sucrose. If your doctor has warned that have intolerance to some sugars, please contact him for advice before using this medicine.
Each tablet Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C containing 1 g glucose and 1,4 g sucrose. This should be considered in patients with diabetes mellitus.
Lozenges containing orange yellow FCE (E110) and Ponceau 4R (E124) as coloring agents, which can cause allergic reactions.

3. HOW TO TAKE STREPSILS ORANGE WITH VITAMIN C
Always take Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C just as you have been told your doctor. If you're not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Adults and children over 6 years:
One tablet sucked slowly over 2-3 hours; lozenges are left in the mouth until dissolved; not chewed or swallowed whole; taken between meals. As with similar medicines, you must swap the position of lozenges inside the mouth until their dissolution in order to avoid the risk of local irritation.
Do not exceed the recommended dose (maximum 8 lozenges in 24 hours).
To avoid the risk of choking, Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C only applies to children who can no oversight to keep the lozenge in the mouth until it dissolves slowly.

Elderly
In elderly patients there is no need to reduce the dose.

Treatment should not last more than five days, as it can cause an imbalance of the oral microbial flora and the risk of bacterial or fungal infection.

If you take more than the amount Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C
May appear gastrointestinal discomfort. Use should be discontinued and symptomatic treatment - for this purpose you should consult your doctor or hospital emergency department immediately.

If you forget to take Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten lozenge.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

5. HOW TO STORE STREPSILS ORANGE WITH VITAMIN C
Be stored below 25 ° C.
Do not use Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C after the expiry date stated on the carton.
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Keep out of reach of children.
Medicines should not be disposed of in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

What contained Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C
The active substances are: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1,2 mg, 0,6 mg Amilmetakrezol Vitamin C and 8 mg.
The other ingredients are: levomenthol, tartaric acid, anise oil, sweet orange oil, liquid sucrose, liquid glucose, orange yellow colors FCE (E110) and Ponceau 4R E132.
