WHAT TEVABISOPROL AND WHAT IT IS USED?
Bisoprololov fumarate, belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers.
Tevabisoprol used for treatment of:
- high blood pressure
- Chest pain due to impaired blood flow in the coronary arteries of the heart.

BEFORE YOU TAKE TEVABISOPROL
Do not take Tevabisoprol if:
- Are allergic to bisoprolol, beta-receptor blockers, or to any of the excipients.
- You have heart failure or shock caused by heart disease
- Suffer from conduction or cardiac arrhythmias.
- You have a slow heartbeat before starting treatment
- Have low blood pressure
- Suffer from severe blockage of blood vessels or Raynaud's syndrome
- Have untreated pheochromocytoma

Take special care with Tevabisoprol
It will further be described certain conditions under which Tevabisoprol can be applied only after further consultation with the doctor and with particularly great caution. Please talk about this with your doctor. The same applies in case that the above indications have occurred before.

- If you get tightness and chest pain at rest
- If you get tightness and chest pain at rest
- If you have asthma or other lung disease accompanied by shortness of breath

- If you have psoriasis
- If you have impaired peripheral circulation
- If you have kidney or liver disease
- If you have an abnormal heart rhythm
- If you suffer from overactive thyroid gland
- If you have had an allergic reaction or have treatment to limit allergic reactions
- If fasting and during prolonged strict diet
- If you have a tumor of the adrenal gland, which are taking other medicines
- In case of surgery, tell your anesthesiologist or other health professional that you are taking tablets bisoprolol.

WHAT FOODS AND DRINKS NEED TO AVOID WHEN USING TEVABISOPROL?
Tablets bisoprolol taken in the morning before, during or after breakfast. They have to swallow whole, not be broken or chewed.
The blood pressure lowering effect of Tevobisoprol can be enhanced with the use of alcohol.

WHAT YOU SHOULD CONSIDER if you are pregnant or breast-feeding?
Bisoprololov fumarate do not take if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breast-feeding. Please consult your doctor before taking medications.

WHAT TO FOLLOW IN DRIVE AND USE MACHINES?
Bisoprololov fumarate can cause side effects that impair the ability to drive and use machines. This is especially true at the start of treatment, when increasing the dose and change of medicinal product and interaction with alcohol. Such reactions are visual disturbances, drowsiness and dizziness. If you are experiencing such side effects, it is advisable not to drive or operate machinery.

HOW TO TAKE TEVABISOPROL?

Starting dose Your doctor will start with the lowest possible dose. Sometimes 1 tablet of 5 mg per day is sufficient. The usual dose is 10 mg once a day and the maximum daily dose is 20 mg.

Impaired function of the liver and kidneys
In patients with mild or moderate renal or hepatic insufficiency, it is necessary to change the dosage. But in patients with advanced kidney in patients with severe liver impairment, the daily dose should not exceed 10 mg bisoprololov fumarate.

Elderly
The doctor will prescribe the lowest possible dose is usually 5 mg daily.

Children
Bisoprolol is not intended for use in children.

If you forget to take Tevabisoprol

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Stop treatment and contact your doctor immediately if you develop symptoms of an allergic reaction such as an itchy skin rash, swelling of face, lips, tongue or throat, shortness of breath or difficulty swallowing. These effects are serious but are rare.

Common: dizziness, headache, fatigue, feeling cold, numbness of the limbs, low blood pressure, gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation.

Uncommon: slow or irregular heartbeat, worsening of pre-existing heart failure, a decrease in blood pressure when standing, sleep disorders, depression, bronchospasm, muscle weakness and cramps.

Rare: nightmares, hallucinations, dry eyes, hearing impairment, allergic rhinitis, hypersensitivity reactions, impaired sexual function, increased levels of blood triglycerides, elevated liver enzymes, hepatitis

Very rare: conjunctivitis, psoriasiform rash or exacerbation of psoriasis, hair loss.
