CADUET / 10 mg. 28 tablets

Medicinal ingredients are:
Amlodipine ( amlodipine) in the form of amlodipine besilate and Atorvastatin ( atorvastatin ) in the form of atorvastatin calsium trihydrate.
Each tablet contains 10 mg contains 10 mg of amlodipine and atorvastatin .
The other ingredients are :
Tablet : calcium carbonate , croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose , pregelatinized corn starch , polysorbate 80 , hyprolose , colloidal anhydrous silica, magniziev stearatFilm - coating: Opadry II blue 85,010,919 polyvinyl alcohol , titanium dioxide (E171 ) , Indigo dark red aluminum lake , macrogol 3000, talc )
 
 
 
1. CADUET WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED
CADUET available as white , oval, film-coated tablets containing 10 mg of amlodipine and 10 mg atorvastatin marked "Pfizer" oT one side and "CTD 101 " on the other .
KADUET is available in blister packs containing 7 , 10, 14,20,28,30,50 , 56, 60, 100 or 200 tablets or bottles containing 30 or 90 tablets with secure detsazapushalka .
It is possible that the market does not offer all types of packaging
 
 
What type of drug is CADUET
CADUET combined product containing medicinal substances belonging to the group of medicines called calcium channel blockers and statins.
 
 
What is it used KADUET
KADUET be used in patients with high blood pressure (hypertension) in which there is a risk of heart disease in the presence of additional cardiovascular risk factors and the normal to slightly elevated cholesterol levels, without clinical evidence of ischemia should sartseto.KADUET used only when diet and other measures ( exercise) are not enough.
 
 
2 . BEFORE YOU TAKE KADUET
KADUET must be used : If you have an allergic reaction to amlodipine besylate, atorvastatin calcium, or to any of the excipients in the formulation of the drug as described above or similar drugs used to lower cholesterol and blood pressure.
If the answer to any of the following questions is YES , tell your doctor before taking KADUET as this medicine may not be suitable for you .
 ■ If you have or have had liver disease or if you have abnormal results of blood tests for liver function.
■ If you drink alcohol in large quantities.
■ If you have any of these symptoms: muscle pain, cramps or muscle weakness , especially if they are associated with fever and malaise . In this case, stop taking KADUET and consult a physician immediately .
■ If you have kidney problems or problems with the thyroid hormones , personal or family history of muscular disorders , or if you have muscle problems during previous treatment with other cholesterol-lowering drugs (eg statins or other drugs known as fibrates ) if you are over 70 years old. In all these cases, your doctor may order blood tests before and during treatment with KADUET .
 Tell your doctor immediately if you develop a skin rash, swelling of the face and body , wheezing or wheezing during treatment with KADUET .

Taking other medicines:
Before you begin taking any new medicine with KADUET you should talk to your doctor. Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are currently taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even without a prescription.
KADUET and other drugs may interfere with one another ( reaction ) such as : Drugs which affect the immune system , such as cyclosporine Some antibiotics , e. rifampicin, or " macrolide antibiotic " , e. erythromycin , telithromycin , or certain drugs used for treatment of diseases caused by fungi , such as ketoconazole , itraconazole . Drugs for regulating levels of cholesterol such as fibrates , niacin , colestipol .
Drugs for regulating sardechiniya rhythm , e. digoxin
- Protease inhibitors used in the treatment of AIDS Warfarin (a medicine to thin the blood )
oral contraceptives
Antacids ( for indigestion )
- Nefazodone ( antidepressant )
Stiripentol ( medicine used to treat epilepsy)
 
 
Taking KADUET with food and drink :
KADUET tablets may be administered at any time of the day , with or without hrana.Ne KADUET take large amounts of grapefruit juice ( over 1.2 liters per day for 5 days) , because this juice contains a number of chemicals which may be increase the amount of one of the active substances KADUET in your body .
Not recommended alcohol consumption while taking KADUET .
 
 
3 . HOW TO TAKE CADUET
Always take CADUET exactly as your doctor has instructed. If you are unsure , ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The usual initial dose is one tablet CADUET of 5 mg / 10 mg once daily. If necessary, your doctor may increase this dose to 10 mg/10 mg . For this dosage , your doctor will prescribe KADUET 10 mg / ` 10 mg tablets.
If you feel that the effect of KADUET is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
CADUET tablets should be swallowed by mouth with a drink or water. The tablets can be taken at any time of the day with or without food.
It is recommended that you follow your doctor's recommended diet , not smoking and regular exercise .
If you still are not sure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
 
If you take more than the required amount CADUET :
 Call your doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital emergency room . Get a pack of KADUET you even if there are not other tablets.
If you forget to take KADUET :
It is important to take your tablets KADUET regularly at the same time each day. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is time for your next dose. In this case, just carry on with the next dose as usual. Do not take 2 doses at the same time to make up for the dose that you missed.
 
 
4 . POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
KADUET , like all drugs , may cause some adverse reaktsii.Nezhelanite effects listed below have occurred in some patients as amlodipine and atorvastatin were administered alone
Common side effects which may affect more than one person in 100 are listed below:
• Insomnia ( difficulty sleeping )
• Headache, drowsiness , dizziness , decreased skin sensitivity to touch or pain, cramping or tingling in fingers and toes
• Palpitations
• Flushing
• Nausea , abdominal pain, indigestion , diarrhea, constipation, flatulence
• Allergic reactions , skin rash or itching
• Muscle pain * , back pain , joint pain
• Fatigue * , edema ( swelling of the ankles as ), weakness , chest pain
• Elevated blood test results for liver and muscle function
* If you have muscle weakness , stiff muscles, tenderness or pain in the muscles , stop taking KADUET and contact your doctor immediately .
If any of the side effects become persistent or troublesome , or if you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet , please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
 
 
5 . KEEPING CADUET
Keep your medicine at a temperature below 30 ° C. Keep all medicines out of reach of children!
Store in original container.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
