Pharmacotherapeutic group

Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors and diuretics, as a fixed combination. (C: cardiovascular system).

Therapeutic indications

This medicine is recommended for the treatment of essential hypertension (of unknown cause) when blood pressure can not be adequately controlled with the application of Perindopril.

This medicine should not be applied in the following cases:

- Known hypersensitivity to perindopril, indapamide or sulfonamides

- A history of swelling of edema (a type of allergic reaction with sudden swelling of the face and neck) in relation to treatment with ACE inhibitors

- Severe renal insufficiency, severe hepatic impairment,

- Hypokalemia (abnormally reduced level of potassium in the blood) o pregnancy and lactation (see below)

- Dialysis

- Untreated decompensated heart failure

- Except for the explicit prescription of your doctor, this drug should not be combined with lithium, potassium salts, potassium-sparing diuretics and certain medicines that can cause cardiac arrhythmias, at an elevated potassium level (pathologically increased level potassium in the blood) in narrowing of the renal arteries.

SPECIAL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Tell your doctor:

CONTRAINDICATIONS

This medication should be taken with caution in:

- Patients with electrolyte imbalance, diabetes, gout, hypotension or strict low-salt diet

Interactions

DOSAGE

OVERDOSE

SIDE EFFECTS

Noliprel® Forte treatment is generally well tolerated. In some people this medication can cause side effects. These effects are:

- Fatigue (asthenia), dizziness,

- Headaches, mood swings and / or disturbances of sleep, muscle cramps,

- Hypotension (low blood pressure) o allergic reactions, skin rashes,

- Gastrointestinal disturbances (abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nausea, abdominal pain, constipation, abnormal taste sensation), O can sometimes appear dry cough, dry mouth o,

- Increased risk of dehydration in the elderly and in patients with heart failure, but may change results of blood parameters, in particular loss of potassium, especially in elderly patients or in patients with malnutrition.
