Propolis is a waxy, antibacterial, imunopoddarzhashta and extremely therapeutic substance collected and produced by worker bees. It contains large amounts of natural bioflavonoids. Bees produce propolis resin specially selected trees and use them for disinfection and sealing their hives. It provides sterile and healthy environment for the development of bee colonies. The word Propolis comes from the Greek words "pro" - "before" and "polis" - "town". This is related to its use at the entrance of the bee city made up of a wax.
